Pochibukuro are the small envelopes Japanese people use to hand over a little cash — a New Year gift for a child, a thank-you to a teacher. - Printed by hand from carved wooden blocks at Takezasado, a Kyoto woodblock studio working since 1891. - Miyako Sakura (Kyoto cherry blossom) pattern on washi paper. - Comes as a folded set. - Each sheet is pressed by a craftsman, so no two are identical.
